The National Election Authority announced the results of the 2024 presidential elections, which witnessed the competition of four candidates with different visions and orientations as follows: Mr. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Mr. Hazem Omar, Mr. Farid Zahran, and Mr. Abdel-Sanad Yamama.
The presidential elections were held in light of a challenging regional and international context for the Egyptian state, which prompted Egyptians to show support for their country in facing those challenges, especially since they represent a threat to Egyptian national security.
The National Election Authority announced the results of the electoral process, which indicated that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received 39,702,451 votes by 89.6%, while Mr. Hazem Omar received 1,986,352 votes by 4.5%, Mr. Farid Zahran received 1,076,952 votes by 4%, and finally Mr. Abdel-Sanad Yamama received 822,606 votes by 1.9%.
