The recent Israeli aggression on Gaza and the later expansion of the scope of military operations outside of Gaza to the southern border areas of Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and the Red Sea between armed factions supported by Iran and the United States and Israel, led to the creation of regional tensions. As the axis of resistance emerged as a cohesive group of armed factions affiliated with Iran, which sought to promote that it was adopting the “resistance” option as a strategic option against Israel and the United States, as the only tool to liberate the Palestinian territories, especially Jerusalem.
This threat by members of the Resistance Axis to the security of Israel prompted the latter to adopt an approach based on a deeper understanding of the intellectual foundations of the Resistance Axis, and how to adapt those intellectual foundations to build a security strategy to confront it in the future.
