This issue stems from the responsibility of the National Center for Middle East Studies to monitor and evaluate the dimensions of critical and unresolved issues in the Middle East that will undoubtedly affect future intra-interactions and international trends towards the region. In this regard, this issue focuses on analyzing the dimensions of displacement and asylum in the Middle East, in light of the complex and intertwined contexts witnessed by a number of countries in the region, while monitoring current data on the phenomenon, analyzing its patterns, anticipating its future, as well as its impacts on Egyptian national security.
