The Egyptian state’s appeal to develop the educational system stems from the deep belief that education is a national necessity and a key factor in social development and stability. It is certain that the ability of education to bring about a real change in the lives of citizens ensures that it fulfills the developmental role assigned to it, and also enhances the ability of citizens to face the challenges they face, as well as providing opportunities for social mobility among different classes, especially given the diversity of education’s nature and content.

Based on Egypt Vision 2030, the state has moved towards developing more plans to advance education through its various stages and to place more emphasis on pre-university education, as it is the foundational stage through which students acquire the skills and abilities that qualify them to play an active and effective role in society.
